Dr. Gary Wallach
Dr. Wallach has practiced in Ft. Lauderdale at Coral Ridge Podiatry since July 1982 having received his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University and Doctor of Podiatry from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He trained post-graduate in Dallas Texas at Mesquite Community Hospital in surgery for reconstructive foot surgery and trauma. In 1993 he became Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Wallach admits patients to Holy Cross Hospital and Imperial Point Medical Center, two of the most respected facilities in the community, where he performs reconstructive foot surgery for bunions, hammertoes, pinched nerves, and heel spurs as well as other foot concerns. He has developed hammertoe and bunion procedures where the incision is virtually invisible. He also performs toe straightening and shortening procedures to aid in better shoe fit.
As a founding member of the International Aesthetic Foot Society, Dr. Wallach has been trained in cutting-edge techniques including cushioning painful areas in the balls and heels of the foot so that wearing high heels can be virtually pain free, Botox to reduce foot odor and perspiration, and eliminating thick and painful callous.
Coral Ridge Podiatry was selected as one of only three centers in the country to treat pinched nerves and heel pain in a revolutionary new way. This innovative treatment involves radio frequencies and has the potential to provide permanent pain relief without surgery.
Coral Ridge Podiatry provides treatment for most adult foot issues, including evaluation and prescriptions for foot orthotics designed to stabilize and return to good function even the most painful foot. Children’s concerns such as warts, ingrown toenails, and heel pain are treated as well. As part of the longest continually active podiatry practice in Ft. Lauderdale, Dr. Wallach looks forward to serving the surgical and aesthetic podiatric needs of the community for many more years to come.
